Yah, ok, well, we do concede that the site looks the same as our boomclothing.com site – but BELIEVE us, there’s a lot of different stuff going on under the hood! It’s a change of name and address for a start.
Why did we keep the same style and design? Because during our recent survey, you guys told us that you loved the easy navigation, the simple to follow links and the funky yet fast loading graphics.
So, here we are, under a new domain sk8factoryshop.com
“Why the change” you may ask?
It’s simple really, for ages, we’ve been wanting to stock other brands and products from other manufacturers, so that we can offer you, our valued customer, a wider choice with greater deals!
We know all you loyal BOOM fans out there are always telling us that we should have a better range of stock, well, this is our way of doing just that! As a small company, we don’t have the resources to carry a huge range of our own products (partly because we don’t have the space!) – hence the desire to offer you all a wider choice – and we couldn’t really do that under our own brand website, could we? Nah, we decided it would be best to run this totally separately from the Boom company, to be fair to all our customers and our suppliers, wholesalers and well, everyone !
So what’s the fuss about!? Well, there’s also a few new features that we have added – and others that we will be adding as we go along:
- Shop by brand – now you can choose which brand to view
- Shop by price: Only got $49.95 to spend on your mate? Just choose the “shop by price” pull down on the left page side.
- Rewards Points: yup, we’re back up and running with these, so now, the more you spend, the more free stuff you can earn!
- Heaps of other cool stuff such as RSS, Magic Zoom the products, interactive video uploads, user profile pages, better integration with other social networking sites and more!
Fear not!! The BOOM brand (and Edwards, Strobe, Metal amongst others) will continue! In fact, they are currently in the middle of next season’s range. We do plan to carry as many of their products as we can.
Watch this space and you’ll begin to see the stock list, brand names and product range magically grow

- User accounts on the old site will be the same on the new site (i.e your username and password is the SAME as it was).
- Order history is unchanged and is available under the My Account tab above.
- Your “visitors cart” may have been emptied during our move, sorry (this is because cookies have changed).
- Your Mailing List (VIP Club) membership remains unchanged – but you’ll see the emails coming to you from list@sk8factoryshop.com instead of boom.
